''Being Archie's dad I’d like to say a few words. I personally had an amazing career in professional football and learned so much on my journey. One thing I know about sport is that you must have love, passion, and a skill for the sport you want to pursue.

But before all, you have to be ready to sacrifice.

This brings me onto my son Archie. He is at that point now in his sporting journey where he is sacrificing a lot, or I should say everything, to become a professional racing driver.

Yes, as a dad I have pushed him towards football and other sports I know, but I knew as soon as he was behind that wheel, this was it.

That eye of the tiger, that steeliness, that everything I had when I was 17 and there was nothing getting in his way. And that leads me on to why I am writing this, to try and give you some words and feeling, what this means to Archie and us as a family. Me and his mum Diane have spent a lot of time, money and energy into taking Archie to where he needs to be, but now we’ve come to a road where we need some financial backing.
